Every February, people across the UK come together to Show The Love, sharing green hearts as a symbol of what’s at the heart of the future they want to protect. From green hearts projected onto town halls, to hand-knitted hearts decorating postboxes, to hundreds of postcards landing on MPs’ desks, people have found ways to Show the Love that feels right for them and their communities.
Every February, people across the UK make and share green hearts with their politicians to show what they love - and what they want to protect. At the heart of Show the Love is a simple, visible act of care and leadership. It’s rooted in pride for our communities, care for the places we love, and hope for the future we’re building for our children. From towns and villages to cities and neighbourhoods, green hearts are a way of sharing what’s at the heart of everyday life, and why it matters.
At the end of 2025, members from across our coalition joined trustees, community groups, and partner organisations for our Annual Movement Gathering. It was a day full of hope, celebration, and connection, as well as an opportunity to take time to reflect on the past year and leave with a renewed sense of purpose for the year ahead.
