Great Big Green Week looks different everywhere you go. In Falmouth, it was snorkel safaris and basking shark processions. In Chichester, an 8ft puppet handing out dandelions. And in Forth, a small village in South Lanarkshire, it was garden gnomes.

Great Big Green Week 2026 is a wrap - and the numbers, the stories and the sheer scale of what happened across nine days in June tell a powerful story of community, togetherness and action. 1.6 million people. 10,000 events. And a week of action that is bigger, broader and more deeply rooted in communities across the UK than ever before. Climate and nature action has officially hit the mainstream.

Great Big Green Week is in full swing - and what a week it's been so far. We're nearly at the midway point, and communities across the UK have been coming Together for Good in the most wonderful ways. Until 14 June, events, activities and conversations celebrating action for climate and nature are taking place in every corner of the country.
