UK Health Alliance on Climate Change

The UK Health Alliance on Climate Change coordinates action, provides leadership and amplifies the voice of health professionals across the UK in advocating for just responses to the climate and nature crises.


UK Youth Climate Coalition

The UK Youth Climate Coalition aims to inspire, empower, mobilise and unite young people to take positive action on climate change for a cleaner, fairer future. They believe that to tackle climate change we need an inspiring vision of how we want the world to be and a movement that anyone can feel part of. The UKYCC places an emphasis on issues which relate closely to young people as part of a wider, cross-generational movement for change.


UNA LONDON AND SOUTH EAST REGION

The United Nations Association London and South East Region (UNA LASER) brings together about 30 local and university branches of UNA-UK, the county’s foremost advocate for UK actions at the UN and a critical friend of the UN system. UNA LASER supports branches in their local activities and organises regional meetings and campaigns on issues of current concern in the UN system.

The United Nations Association - UK (UNA-UK) is the UK's leading source of independent analysis on the UN, and a UK-wide grassroots movement. UNA-UK believes that a strong, credible and effective UN is essential if we are to build a safer, fairer and more sustainable world.


Uplift

Uplift’s mission is to support and energise the movement for a just and fossil fuel-free UK. We strategically resource, connect, and elevate ideas and voices to set in motion a just transition away from fossil fuel production that is commensurate with the scale of the climate crisis. We put equity and justice at the heart of everything we do.


Wateraid

WaterAid’s vision is of a world where everyone has access to safe water and sanitation. Their mission is to transform lives by improving access to safe water, hygiene and sanitation in the world’s poorest communities.


Westminster Justice and Peace

Westminster Justice and Peace has long worked promote the importance of being responsible ‘stewards of creation’ or protectors of the environment. They see global issues such as refugees, war, peace and climate as fundamentally linked: the Vatican statement, ‘If you want peace, protect creation’ resonates with us.


Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust

Wetlands are essential for life. The Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust (WWT) creates and protects wetland habitats to provide water, food and shelter for people and wildlife. They save species around the world from extinction; their nine UK Wetland Centres inspire thousands of visitors to enjoy being close to nature.


Wildlife and Countryside Link (Link) is the largest environment and wildlife coalition in England, bringing together 83 organisations to use their strong joint voice for the protection of nature. Their members campaign to conserve and protect landscapes, wild animals, plants, habitats, rivers and seas.


The Wildlife Trusts

The Wildlife Trusts want to help nature to recover from the decline that for decades has been the staple diet of scientific studies and news stories. They believe passionately that wildlife and natural processes need to have space to thrive, beyond designated nature reserves and other protected sites.


Wiltshire Wildlife Community Energy

Wiltshire Wildlife Community Energy develops community-owned renewable energy projects that reduce carbon emissions and promote more wildlife in Wiltshire.


Winchester Action on Climate Change

Founded in 2007, Winchester Action on Climate Change (WinACC) is a fast growing and effective network of local people, businesses, organisations and leaders, not aligned to any political party. They work together to tackle climate change and transform Winchester into a low carbon district where people consume only their fair share of the earth’s resources, and where their lifestyles are not jeopardising the wellbeing of our children and grandchildren.


Women's Environmental Network

The Women’s Environmental Network (WEN) is the only organisation in the UK that has worked consistently to make the links between women’s lives and environmental issues. WEN’s vision is of an environmentally sustainable world in which we have achieved gender equality.


Women's Institute

The National Federation of Women’s Institutes (NFWI) is an educational, social, non-party political and non-sectarian organisation. It was established to ensure that women are able to take an effective part in their community, to learn together, widen their horizons, improve and develop the quality of their lives and those of their communities and together influence local, national and international affairs on issues that matter to members. 


Woodland Trust

The Woodland Trust is the UK's leading woodland conservation charity. They want to see a UK rich in native woods, with vulnerable ancient woodland sensitively restored and better protection given to the woods and trees we already have. They empower local people to take positive action for the wooded spaces they care about, too. Threats to woodland feel relentless right now - and woods and trees can only stay silent. Working together, we can all be the voice they so urgently need.


Working Class Climate Alliance

Based in the UK, The Working Class Climate Alliance is an international network of individuals, communities and organisations working to transform our locales into ones that are more sustainable for present and future generations. We amplify working class voices within environmentalism, whilst also raising working class pride and solidarity worldwide.


WWF

WWF works in over 100 countries to safeguard the environment and build a future in which humans live in harmony with nature. Climate change threatens many of the planet’s species - including our own. WWF finds workable, practical solutions to the problems posed by climate change across governments, business and civil society.
