Action on climate change requires governments who are leaders in issues affecting all. Scotland has demonstrated leadership by suggesting to attain 0 emissions by 2050. Scotland has been ambitious and shown leadership by achieving 45% reduction in emissions so far. This should set a background and basis to build on, in achieving further world record reduction to 0%.  Scotland will have taken world leadership on climate action if they take these direction.

I work with very vulnerable poor people to raise their incomes beyond poverty level but projects efforts get eroded with climate change effects and we have to invest more and in new things every year to try and support these communities. We aim at building the resilience of the households and communities to climate change effects. Scotland should aim at supporting these communities in climate resilience as climate change has come to stay and these vulnerable communities will have to survive and their livelihoods thrive or die without support from able governments like Scotland.

Scotland should take lead in actions on emissions reduction for the sake of the earth and much more for the sake of the vulnerable people who are unable to take similar actions at scale and cannot also adapt without support.
