CELEBRATE THE LIFE YOU WANT TO PROTECT FROM CLIMATE CHANGE
The climate is changing, and many of the things we love and care about deeply are feeling the impacts. Your school can play a key role in turning this around, by inspiring the next generation to get active and make their voices heard. By being part of our annual Show The Love campaign, you'll join musicians, football clubs, community groups, businesses, astronauts and hundreds of thousands of people across the UK in showing the love for a future where the UK no longer contributes to climate change.
Download our handy school guide and corresponding activities for creative and crafty ways to get your KS1, KS2, and KS3 pupils involved. Through the fun and educational activities, your pupils will get creative through crafting, learn about the impacts of climate change on the things we love, and think about the steps they can take in their own lives to Show The Love for a cleaner future.
ACTIVITY 1: SHOW THE LOVE FOR FOOD
Have your pupils learn about the different (and maybe even surprising!) parts of plants that end up on our plates, and explore how climate change is affecting them.
ACTIVITY 2: GET CREATIVE ON CLIMATE CHANGE!
Having your pupils craft a green heart is a great way to get them talking about how climate change is affecting the people, places and things they love.
ACTIVITY 3: GO BUNTING CRAZY (COMPETITION NOW CLOSED)
Get ready, get set, bunt! We’re running a special schools’ competition to find the best green heart bunting in the country.Think your class has what it takes?
