COALITION STRUCTURE

The Climate Coalition is made up of our team, different working groups and over 100 member organisations, all working together to champion climate action. With many moving parts, we’ve set out a simple diagram to make the coalition structure a bit clearer.

WORKING GROUPS

 
 

TCC BOARD

The TCC board is responsible for the overall strategic direction of the organisation.

STEERING GROUP

The steering group oversees political, public and communications work streams to ensure coherent strategy.

COP AMBITION GROUP AND PARLIAMENTARY GROUP

The parliamentary group and COP ambition group both oversee political strategy, discuss and share political intelligence, and generate any specific parliamentary work to engage MPs. They also help bring together other campaigns to achieve coherence.

COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT

The community group develops and delivers plans for community activity to build a mandate for new MPs to act and increase pressure from MPs on central government.

PUBLIC ENGAGEMENT

The public engagement group plans and delivers joint public engagement campaigns to encourage our supporters to demand more ambition from the government and raise the public and political profile of mainstream public concern about climate change.

DIGITAL COMMUNICATIONS GROUP AND MEDIA GROUP

The media group and digital comms group works on developing and delivering comms plans to support the campaigns, policy and political work.

TALENT GROUP

The talent group works to build a celebrity supporter network to help amplify our campaigns and broaden our reach.
