ACT NOW CHANGE FOREVER: WE DID IT!

On 9th July 2025, over 5,000 people came together at Westminster to call on MPs to act now for a healthier, fairer, safer future. It was one of the biggest moments for climate and nature this year, and the largest mass lobby of the decade.

We asked MPs to back bold, practical action by committing to:

1. Deliver vital funding to communities hit hardest by climate change here and around the world

2. Cut bills, back UK jobs, and secure a greener fairer future for all

3. Restore nature to create a safer, healthier future

People travelled, far and wide, from across the UK  to speak directly to their MPs. From schoolchildren to surfers, parents to pensioners, campaigners to conservationists, the diversity and strength of the movement was impossible to ignore.

Beyond the meetings, Westminster came alive with colour and energy. Banners, placards and artwork filled the streets across our four fantastic venues – and, of course, the iconic Parliament Square

WWF’s panda, Water Aid Toilets, a giant melting ice-cream, surfboards, placards and people turned Westminster in to a hub of colour and solidarity.

Inside the QEII Centre, the rooms buzzed with conversation, panel discussions, performances and speeches. And for those lucky enough to join a WWF-guided nature walk through St James’s Park, there was a moment of calm and reflection in nature.

Act Now, Change Forever was a powerful reminder of what’s possible when we show up – together, side by side - to demonstrate the overwhelming public support for action on climate and nature.

Together, we brought our MPs an unmissable message: communities across the UK are ready for bold, practical action on climate and nature - and we won’t stop here.

We’re just getting started. Now it’s time to take the conversation from Westminster to every corner of the UK.

From 13-20 September 2025, we’ll be holding a nationwide Lobby Week - and you’re invited to be part of it.

🏡 What is Lobby Week?

Lobby Week is your opportunity to meet your decision maker  locally - in your community, on your terms.

You might meet at a constituency office, local café, community centre, or even out on a walk.
You’ll have a chance to continue the conversations we started in July  - and bring climate and nature action closer to home.

Whether you were in Westminster or not, this is your moment to speak up.

Sign up now to hear how you can get involved in Lobby Week this September, and to stay connected with opportunities to make a difference both locally and nationally. You’ll hear about ways to get involved in our campaigns, alongside resources, training and events designed to support you in driving change for people, climate and nature. We will also send you information about training and resources, and opportunities to build your skills and lobby your MP locally!
